Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Welwyn Garden City, our new centre is now open and welcoming dogs. Surrounded by peaceful fields, it has been thoughtfully designed to feel like a modern country farmhouse — warm, welcoming, and filled with the same love and care you’ve always trusted us with.

 

This is a true home-away-from-home, where dogs can thrive, play, rest, and be adored — just as they are with you.

Limited Spaces Available

 

Our centre is now running with a limited number of spaces available. Phase one of our launch includes just 8 spaces, with additional availability opening in phase two.

 

Once phase one is full, no further spaces will be released until phase two begins. To maintain calm, stable groups and prioritise every dog’s safety and comfort, we only offer places to families looking for regular weekly attendance, ensuring minimal change within daycare groups.

 

We can’t wait to welcome you to this exciting new chapter for YPPS — and to see your dogs enjoying their very own countryside retreat.

Red Light Therapy at Our Daycare 

 

As part of our commitment to exceptional care, every dog in our daycare receives red light therapy as a standard wellness benefit. It’s one of the many ways we go above and beyond to support your dog’s comfort, health, and overall wellbeing.

 

What Is Red Light Therapy?

 

Red light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support the body’s natural healing and recovery processes. It’s completely pain-free and deeply relaxing — many dogs find it calming and soothing.

 

How Does It Work?

 

When red and near-infrared light is applied, it penetrates the skin to reach muscles, joints, and connective tissue. At a cellular level, the light is absorbed by the mitochondria — the “powerhouses” of the cells — helping them produce more energy (ATP).

 

This increase in cellular energy helps to:

    •    Improve blood flow and oxygen delivery

    •    Reduce inflammation and swelling

    •    Support joint mobility and muscle relaxation

    •    Promote tissue repair and recovery
